Gaia North Coast: Al Ahly Sabbour's village in Ras El Hekma

Gaia North Coast is a summer village by Al Ahly Sabbour Developments in Ras El Hekma, at kilometre 194 of the Alexandria to Matrouh road, on 280 feddans. About 65% of the land is greenery and landscaping, with 45,000 m² of water features and swimmable lagoons, a hotel and a beach. The units recorded with us are many and varied, from a 38 m² cabin and a 44 m² chalet up to a five-bedroom villa of 300 m², most of them past their handover dates.

Gaia village in Ras El Hekma

Where is Gaia on the North Coast? At kilometre 194 of the Alexandria to Matrouh international road, in Ras El Hekma. According to the project's details it is about an hour from Alamein, reached from the Alexandria to Matrouh road and the New Fouka road.

Its beach neighbours are SODIC's June about 800 metres away, Direction White 1.3 km, Cali Coast 2.1 km, The Med 2.7 km and Hacienda Waters 3.3 km. See it under location, or the Ras El Hekma page.

One thing to watch: Gaia Cabanas, about 500 metres away, is a different project by another company, Melee Development, not Al Ahly Sabbour. If someone offers you a unit in "Gaia", ask first which one.

Chalets for sale in Gaia North Coast

Are there chalets for sale in Gaia? A cabin or small one-bedroom chalet suits a couple or a small family coming for weekends, at the lowest total price in the village. Two and three-bedroom chalets suit a family spending the whole summer, and penthouses add a roof terrace looking over the water. For every chalet, ask which floor it is on, whether it faces the sea, a lagoon or the garden, and how far it is to walk to the beach, since that is what moves the price and the rent.

Houses in Gaia: townhouses, twin houses and villas

If you want a house with a garden, there are three-bedroom townhouses of about 180 m² due at the end of 2027, three-bedroom twin houses up to 246 m², and finished five-bedroom villas up to 300 m². A villa on the coast fits a large family and guests, but its upkeep and garden cost money every year even if you only stay two months.

The developer has no priced units on offer, so no developer price or payment plan is recorded with us.

Ready or new? Count the summers

A ready chalet in Gaia is yours next summer, while a new one nearby means waiting two or three summers. Each summer you wait, you either rent somewhere else or lose the rent you could have earned by letting your own chalet. Ask in the village what a similar chalet rents for per week in peak season, multiply by the season's weeks and the summers you would wait, and set that against the price difference.

According to the project's details: a sandy beach with beachside dining, 45,000 m² of water features and swimmable lagoons, a 4,300 m² signature pool, a hotel, a commercial strip with cafes, restaurants and shops, a gym and sports courts, a kids' area, jogging and cycling tracks, security with cameras, parking and customer care.
