Lasirena Sokhna Resort is a summer village by Lasirena Group in Ain Sokhna at kilometre 106 of the Suez to Zafarana road, about 23 km before Zafarana, already finished. It has a private beach 250 metres wide, swimming pools, lagoons and greenery. The units recorded with us are small and medium: a 60 m² two-bedroom apartment and chalets of 90 to 120 m², up to twin houses and villas of 120 to 180 m², all past their handover dates and some furnished.

Where is Lasirena Sokhna?

Where is Lasirena Sokhna located? At kilometre 106 of the Suez to Zafarana road, about 23 km before Zafarana, and about 30 km from Galala and about an hour and a half from the New Capital. Its nearest neighbours are La Vista 3 about 1.7 km away, Boho El Sokhna 3.3 km, La Vista Gardens 7.4 km and Kai Sokhna 8.1 km, with Blumar El Dome about 21 km north towards Sokhna. The spot is a little away from the busy start of Sokhna, so the village is calmer, but the drive from Cairo is longer. If you plan many weekends, count that time.

Is it the same as Lasirena North Coast?

No. Lasirena Group has several villages with the same name in different places:

• Lasirena Sokhna Resort: the village on this page, on the Zafarana road.
• Lasirena Palm Beach and Cape Bay Blumar Lasirena: two other villages in Ain Sokhna, closer to Cairo.
• Lasirena North Coast: in El Dabaa.

Are there chalets for sale in Lasirena Sokhna? A two-bedroom chalet of about 100 m² suits a small family, a three-bedroom a larger one, and the 60 m² apartment a couple or a rental. A furnished twin house helps if you want to arrive straight away without buying and moving furniture. For each unit, ask whether it faces the sea, the pool or the garden, and how far it is from the beach.

The village has a private sandy beach 250 metres wide on the Red Sea, with a promenade of restaurants and cafes along it. The Sokhna sea differs from the North Coast: calmer water and a longer season, so you can go in winter and spring too. Ask about the beach itself, though: sandy all along or with rocks and reef, and who has access to it.

If you want to rent it out, ask in the village what a similar chalet rents for per night or week, count the rent you would earn during the waiting years, add the cost of finishing and furniture, and set that against the price difference.
