Allegria compound: SODIC's ready villas around the golf course in Sheikh Zayed

Allegria compound, sometimes typed "alegria", is a community by SODIC on 2.4 million m² in Sheikh Zayed, on the Cairo to Alexandria desert road. It is finished: every unit recorded with us is past its handover date, townhouses from 210 m² and villas from four to eight bedrooms of up to 825 m². The developer has no priced units on offer now, so buying in Allegria today means resale from an owner, and the resale prices are in the price table on this page.

According to the project's details, Allegria is in Sheikh Zayed with its entrance directly on the Cairo to Alexandria desert road, also reached from the Wahat Road. Who is the developer of Allegria? SODIC. According to the project's details, it designed Allegria with seven international architects and designers, including Michael Graves, Mark Mack and Arquitectonica, with about 30 unit designs, for more than 1,250 families. Most of the land is green space and landscaping, around an 18-hole golf course signed by Greg Norman.

Club S and the hotel in Allegria

Is there a hotel in Allegria compound? Yes. According to the project's details, the Angsana Allegria hotel, managed by Banyan Tree, sits at the heart of the compound with about 100 rooms including 30 suites, restaurants, a spa and pools, on a raised platform with views over West Cairo. The master plan also lists Club S, and a clubhouse with an outdoor gym, tennis courts, restaurants and a pool.

The number of bedrooms does not set the size: a five-bedroom villa can be 350 m² or 800 m², and a seven-bedroom can be smaller than a six-bedroom. Compare by area and plot, not by rooms alone. Villas for sale in Allegria

Are there villas for sale in Allegria? Yes, from owners, since the developer has none priced on offer. They run from 302 m² to 825 m², many looking onto the golf course or green space. The six-bedroom villas are recorded as fully finished; for the others, ask about each one, because finishing a large villa costs a great deal, and the eight-bedroom is semi-finished.

The townhouse: the cheaper way into Allegria

If you want Allegria with less space than a villa, the townhouse from 210 m² is the entry. The four-bedroom townhouse is recorded as fully finished, so you can furnish and move in.

International schools near Allegria

According to the project's details, the British International School in Cairo is next to the compound, and the German School and New Vision International School are in nearby Beverly Hills. For a family with children at these schools, that cuts the daily school run to minutes.
